Q: What does the ASC Extended Warranty cover?
A: The suction motor on the following brand name vacuum cleaners that
The Vac Shop, Inc. sells. Including SHARP - EUREKA - PANASONIC - HOOVER - SANITAIRE - ROYAL
No power nozzle, Royal medal upright and hand or stick cleaner motors.

Q: Is the ASC Warranty pro-rated like other warranties, such as tires and batteries?
A: The ASC warranty is not pro-rated and is valid anywhere in the United States, even if customer moves.

Q: How do we register the ASC Warranty Certificates?
A: The Vac Shop, Inc. will complete the ASC REGISTRATION CARD at the time the vacuum is purchased. We will mail the warranty registration to ASC to insure the vacuum is protected for the extended warranty period.

Q: How do we file a claim for a defective motor?
A: If the customer's motor fails after the manufacturer's warranty period, call the ASC claim department's toll-free number. Furnish the ASC certificate number and you will be directed to a service center near you if The Vac Shop, Inc. is not conveniently located.

Q: Who pays for the service call and installation charges?
A: The customer will pay the service center his usual charges for the service and installation. ASC only furnishes the factory authorized replacement motor at no charge.

Q: What if the customer lost his ASC Certificate?
A: This can happen. All Certificates are filed into our computer by number. ASC will accept as proof of claim the Dealer's file copy or any similar evidence that the customer has coverage under the ASC warranty, and can furnish us the certificate number.

Q: What if the retail store or customer moves out of the area?
A: No problem. The customer can select another authorized service center from the newspapers, yellow pages, etc. The new service center can call ASC for an authorization on the toll-free line, and we will make the arrangements to handle the claim. The number for ASC is 1-800-325-4363.

Q: What if I fill out an ASC Certificate and the sale is canceled or the vacuum is exchanged by the factory, or we "spoil" a Certificate?
A: Simply send in the Purchaser's copy and the Dealer's copy to ASC and it will be replaced immediately at no charge.
